Every year, the second Tuesday of the month is a Safer Internet Day. The students participated in various activities to mark the day.
Fifth and sixth year students wrote website titles, that they visit most, in the WordArt tool.
Fifth year students played various games connected to internet security.
Sixth grade students made digital posters
about personal data, and they watched an educational video about protecting
personal data.
Students of 7th A class celebrated the Safer
Internet Day by playing games about rules of conduct on the internet and by
making posters about dangers of the internet and cyber bullying.
Eight grade students participated in a workshop about fake news where they tried to recognise a fake news article and at the end they had to create a fake news themselves. They played a Kahoot quiz about internet safety.
By the decision made by Croatian Parliament,
the last Wednesday in February marks a Pink T-shirt Day, that day is declared
to be the national day against peer violence. In our Centre, The Pink T-shirt
Day was marked by wearing pink T-shirts to school on Wednesday 16th of
February, by taking photographs in a pink T-shirt frame, holding workshops and
doing various suiting activities. The workshops and activities were held by
subject and class teachers between 14th and 18th of February since the students
had the second part of their winter break from 21st till 25th of February.
This school year the masquerades fell on
Tuesday, February 1st. The students were not in school. But they made a Wakelet
collection about customs in Croatia.
